Chronic kidney disease (CKD) related to type 2 diabetes can progress over time and impact your long-term health. If you have stage 2–4 CKD and are on stable treatment, you may be eligible to take part in a clinical research study investigating a potential new injectable medication.
By participating, you’ll receive regular kidney health monitoring, study-related medical care, and the opportunity to contribute to research that may improve future treatment options for people with chronic kidney disease.

Chronic Kidney Disease occurs when the kidneys gradually lose their ability to filter waste from the blood. In people with type 2 diabetes, damage to the kidney’s blood vessels can lead to ongoing inflammation and loss of kidney function.
Living with chronic kidney disease is about more than managing a medical condition. It can affect many areas of life — from physical health to emotional wellbeing and everyday routines. For many people, the challenges of CKD aren’t always visible, but they are felt every day.
While current treatments can slow progression, they don’t work for everyone.
This study is evaluating an investigational injectable medication designed to stabilise blood vessels in the kidneys and reduce inflammation. The study compares the investigational medication with a placebo, and all participants are closely monitored throughout.
Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the study medication or a placebo (inactive substance) given as four subcutaneous injections (under the skin).
During the study, participants will receive ongoing health monitoring and assessments with our professional medical team.
