Do you struggle with Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema)? If you experience moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) that isn’t fully controlled with your current treatment, you may be eligible to join a clinical research study investigating a new treatment that may potentially benefit your symptoms and quality of life. By taking part, you may receive a potential new treatment option for AD, receive regular health checks, and contribute to medical research that could benefit people in the future.
About Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema)
Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, is a chronic skin condition that can make your skin feel dry, itchy, and sore. It can come and go, appearing as red, irritated patches that may make daily life uncomfortable and affect sleep, physical comfort, and self-confidence. Flare-ups of symptoms can be caused by a wide range of triggers, including changes in temperature, allergens in the environment or food, stress, certain clothing or fabrics and hormonal changes. With eczema, your skin’s protective barrier is a bit weaker, making it more susceptible to irritants. Current treatments include topical creams and corticosteroids, but these options don’t always provide lasting relief, creating a need for a more effective treatment.
The study lasts up to 49 weeks, with up to 19 scheduled clinic visits
About the Investigational Medication
This study is exploring whether a new investigational treatment could help people living with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) by targeting the underlying inflammation that causes itching and skin irritation.
Researchers are assessing whether this potential new treatment can lessen the severity of eczema symptoms, strengthen the skin’s natural barrier, and provide lasting relief to improve comfort and well-being. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of two dose levels of the investigational treatment or a placebo. The study treatment is administered once every 4 weeks for 12 weeks. You will visit the clinic regularly for health assessments, including skin evaluations, physical examinations, and general checkups. Your safety and well-being will be closely monitored by a professional clinical team.
