Are you living with frequent migraines and interested in taking part in migraine research? Momentum Clinical Research is conducting a clinical research study evaluating an investigational oral tablet designed to help prevent migraines. By taking part, you may receive regular study-related health checks and contribute to research that could benefit others living with migraines in the future.

The study duration is up to approximately 21 weeks, with around 7 clinic visits.
Compensation
Participants will be reimbursed up to $2,380.
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify for this study if you:
- Are aged 18 to 64 years
- Have tried between 14 preventive migraine medications that did not work
- Have not taken preventive migraine treatments in the past 3 months
- Are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- Are willing and able to follow all study requirements, including contraception requirements where applicable

Description
- Migraines are painful, debilitating neurological events often causing intense throbbing head pain, nausea, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.
Migraines can severely disrupt daily routines, work productivity, and time spent with family. While common therapies exist, many individuals do not respond fully to them, leaving a significant need for alternative options.
This study is evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational oral medication. The goal is to determine whether this treatment can successfully reduce monthly migraine days by disrupting specific inflammatory pathways involved in migraine pain.
What to expect
Participants will be randomly assigned to 1 of 3 treatment arms to receive either one of two doses of the investigational treatment or a placebo tablet.
• You will take 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening for 12 weeks.
• You will attend regular clinic visits for study-related health assessments, including physical exams, vital signs, heart tracings (ECGs), and blood and urine tests (including ongoing monitoring of your kidney function).
• Your safety and well-being will be closely monitored by our experienced study medical team throughout the trial.
• You will complete an electronic headache diary.
