Momentum Clinical Research is inviting adults aged 18 to 64 who have had tinnitus for at least 6 months to register interest in a clinical research study. Researchers are studying an investigational oral medication to learn more about its safety, tolerability, and effects on tinnitus-related symptoms.

Duration
Participants with tinnitus may be in the study for up to about 7 weeks. This includes screening up to 21 days before dosing, at-home study medication once each evening for 14 days, clinic visits on Day 1, around Day 8 and Day 15, and a safety follow-up visit around Day 21.
Compensation
Participants will be compensated up to $6,750
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify for this study if you:
• Are aged 18 to 64
• Have had tinnitus for at least 6 months
• Are otherwise generally healthy
• Can attend study visits for Screening and also on Day 1, Day 8, Day 15, and Day 21
• Are willing to take study capsules at home after an evening meal
• Are willing to follow safety instructions after taking the study medication

Description
This study is for adults with tinnitus. Tinnitus can involve hearing ringing, buzzing, hissing or similar sounds when there is no external source. Researchers are studying a potential medication intended for adults with chronic tinnitus.
The information collected will help researchers learn more about the safety and tolerability of the study medication and its effects on tinnitus-related aspects of daily living, tinnitus loudness and annoyance, sleep, and well-being.
What to expect
Participants will take the study medication at home once daily in the evening after an evening meal for 14 days.
You will attend clinic visits for health assessments, including physical checks, blood and urine tests, heart tracing, and tinnitus questionnaires. Your safety and wellbeing will be monitored by our experienced clinical team throughout the study.
You will also be asked to follow safety instructions after taking the study medication.
