Dr. Satterthwaite is a clinical researcher at Momentum Clinical Research Palmerston North, specialising in Medical Oncology. With 11 years of experience in clinical trials, she is dedicated to advancing clinical research and improving patient outcomes.
Dr. Satterthwaite earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Otago University in 2009. She has also completed additional training in Medical Oncology and holds a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Over the years, Dr. Satterthwaite has become particularly passionate about Oncology, finding fulfillment in both clinical practice and advancing research.
Dr. Satterthwaite has successfully completed two studies as Principal Investigator (PI) and 20 studies as Sub-Investigator (SI). These studies span various therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Hypercholesterolemia, Weight Loss, Coeliac Disease and Vaccines contributing to significant advancements in clinical research.
As well as working at Momentum Palmerston North, Dr. Satterthwaite works at MidCentral Regional Cancer Treatment Services, where she gained and continues to gain extensive experience in Medical Oncology and Oncology Clinical Trials.
Outside of clinical work, she is busy raising two young children and enjoys reading and good food.
