Dr. Baker is a clinical researcher at Momentum Clinical Research Pukekohe. She specialises in General Practice in Auckland and brings 4.5 years of clinical trial experience. She is dedicated to advancing clinical research and improving patient outcomes.
Dr. Baker earned her Degrees from Auckland University in 1985. She has also completed additional training in General Practice, Obstetrics and anesthetics and holds certifications in General Practice (Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners) a postgraduate diploma in obstetrics, gynaecology and anesthetics. Over the years, Dr. Baker has become particularly passionate about respiratory disease, General medical condition and family health, finding fulfillment in both clinical practice and advancing research.
Dr. Baker has successfully completed 6 studies as Principal Investigator (PI) and 7 studies as Sub-Investigator (SI). These studies span various therapeutic areas, including respiratory medicine – COPD, IPF, Bronchiectasis, alpha1- antitrypsin deficiency and asthma, Skin conditions – atopic dermatitis and vitiligo, and Vaccine trials and shingles. Dr. Baker has contributed to significant advancements in clinical research.
In addition to working for Momentum Pukekohe, Dr. Baker works at a private research unit attached to the NZ respiratory and sleep institute and will also be working for a short time at Waitemata Clinical Research in Auckland and continues to work part time in General Practice.
