Josh Stent CEO Podcast with SCRS
SCRS Podcast with Momentum CEO Josh Stent
For years, clinical research has talked about innovation. But if we're honest, many of the processes we rely on today were designed for a very different environment.
Protocols are becoming more complex. Expectations around speed and quality continue to increase. Participants expect a better experience. Sponsors need greater predictability.
The question isn't whether our industry needs to evolve. It's how.
Recently, I joined Jimmy Bechtel, MBA from the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) to discuss how AI, automation and integrated systems are beginning to reshape clinical research operations.
One of the themes we explored was that technology should not be focused on replacing clinical professionals. It should be focused on reducing administrative burden, improving visibility and giving investigators, coordinators and nurses more time to do the work only humans can do.
We also discussed recruitment, participant engagement, integrated systems and what the future clinical trial operating model may look like. Thanks to Jimmy and the SCRS team for the opportunity to contribute to the conversation.
