We’re a dedicated team of investigators, registered nurses, clinical coordinators, and support staff with a strong track record in conducting a wide variety of clinical trials.
PCRN Rotorua launched in 2010 (formerly Lakeland Clinical Trials) and in 2019 moved into its own bespoke facility purely dedicated to research. Despite a smaller local population, we’ve become one of New Zealand’s most successful clinical trial sites, known for strong recruitment and participant care.
Comfort, privacy and respect for your experience are central to how we work. We know clinical trials can take you out of your usual routine, so we strive to make each visit as easy as possible. Our facility was designed with participant wellbeing in mind - modern rooms, welcoming spaces, and a participant-forward approach to safety and support.
We are equipped to run studies ranging from smaller-scale trials to large phase II-IV outpatient trials that may involve longer sessions or frequent visits. Located in Rotorua and well-positioned to serve the wider region, our clinic makes participation accessible and meaningful.
