Sarah Asmussen

Sarah is a senior healthcare executive with extensive experience across clinical services, complex healthcare operations, and multi-site health networks in Australia and New Zealand.

 

Originally trained as a Nuclear Medicine Scientist, Sarah holds undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Medical Radiation Science, alongside an MBA and advanced executive credentials in strategy, governance, and change management. Her career spans senior leadership roles across leading healthcare organisations including St John of God Health Care, I-MED Radiology, Genesis Care Oncology, and Metro North Health.

 

Sarah brings extensive experience leading complex healthcare and clinical operations across public, private, not-for-profit, and private equity-backed health systems. She is known for her pragmatic leadership style, clear execution focus, and ability to build operating models that strengthen performance while supporting clinicians and teams to do their best work.

 

Outside of work, Sarah is an avid traveller, a long time Pilates devotee, and spends most of her downtime with her husband and their two very spoiled miniature dachshunds.
